How to complete Initial Setup on a DNS ONLY install of WHM

Description
  •  On completion of the installation, on logging in as the root user, the first thing you will see is a window, if you do a mistake here, you will not be able to fix them in future, so be careful.
  • Read the license, agree to the EULA to proceed to step 2.
  • Enter all the details, when done, click on Save & Go to Step 3.
  • You can add some of the addition IP addresses. If you won’t be adding any IP, then click on the link above.
  • As described on the page, a nameserver is a program which maintains a list of your domains and their corresponding IP addresses. If you have several cPanel servers, it’s best to share the DNS records to minimize the risk of downtime.
  • Now, choose the nameserver program you wish to use on this server. Scroll down; in order to set up a nameserver, you will need an IP address for each. Be sure to create hosts for the nameservers rather than just subdomains.
  • Make sure that the main domain name is set to use the correct nameservers.
  • When you have all of them sorted, enter the nameservers’ hostnames in the columns and then verify all the IP addresses are correct. Click on Finish Setup Wizard when done.
