How to configure your settings in WordPress

Description
  • Log into WordPress.
  • Click Settings tab from left side.
  • The page opened will have general settings that you can change, like blog title, tagline and URL. Fill in the options and click on Save changes button, when done. Settings will be changed.
  • Go to Writing settings. On this page, you can edit the settings related to writing posts. Fill in the options and click on Save Changes button, when done.
  • Go to Reading settings. You can set blog pages shown, front page displays, syndication feeds and other options related to reading of blogs on your website. Click on Save changes option, when done.
  • Go to Discussion settings for altering them. On this page, you can change settings related to comments and avatars. Make the desired changes and click on Save changes button, when done.
  • Go to Media Settings. You will be able to alter settings like maximum allowed image dimensions and image alignment on this page. Click on Save changes, when done.
  • Go to Privacy settings. You can choose whether or not to allow bots and search engines to access your blog.
  • Go to Permalinks settings. You can choose the type of URL structure used through this page.
