How to change an account's disk quota in WHM

Description
  • While some web hosts want their clients to think disk space is unlimited, it is one of the most finite resources on your system. You should ensure that each cPanel account has a reasonable disk quota in place.
  • There are 2 ways to get quota modification page for a account.
  • Go to Account Information. Click List Accounts. Pick out which row in table represents the account whose quota you wish to change. Scroll right.
  • When you hover over the row, you will see the edit icons to appear beneath a number of options. Click one under quota to edit the account’s disk quota.
  • Enter a new value in MB or use unlimited. Click on change button. The quota will be reset.
  • The second way to get to quota page of an account, click Quota Modification under Account Functions.
  • Select from the list the domain name or users belonging to your account, then submit the page. You will be taken to the same page you saw earlier.
  • If there is a trouble in getting quotas to work on your accounts, then disk quotas have probable not been set up in a right way on your system.
